arn't these the cutest??? Too hot to wear them this week..it is crocs all the way..I need to vent holes!! BUT..these are going to be great. They are my "go to town in clean shoes" shoes right now. Cute and cheap (16.95 at a local garden center) and they came in a nice sturdy reusable heavy vinyl tote that my daughter uses for carrying her swimming stuff to and from lessons. What do you think????
btw, Mommom you can decorate them. There was an article in a magazine I saw at the beauty shop (the only place I get to browse through tons of magazines I'm too cheap/frugal to buy) about a boy who built a huge business decorating shoes (I think it was Crocs) before anyone else was doing that. He ended up selling his technique/concept or something for tons of $$. I didn't read real close (sorry) so the details are sketchy. Anyway, he used nonwaterproof markers & pencil to sketch his designs and then waterproof something (markers? paint? paint markers?) to do the actual work. DD bought some of the off-brand shoes a few weeks ago and is going to try her hand at making some with her school logo. She bought paint markers. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Some people search for happiness; others create it.
I have a pair of navy blue ladybug shoes...I love them... especially n the fall when it's chillier out in the morning and I need to wear socks...they are really nice!
Those are super cute! I saw those at our local "Everything" store here in town too! I opted for boots that went to my knees though since I needed them to muck horse stalls and walk around in deep mud (last spring). How fun to have something both practical and fun! Very Very Farmgirl!
