Only 5 more to go and I can get my 50 in the mail! YEAH! Now I'm going to start on more just to have on hand. I love doing this while sitting in my favorite rocker. I used to watch TV in that chair. Now I turn off the TV and just yo yo!

Thanks to Maryjane and Sunshine both! Woo hoo!! Looks like our chapter is going yo-yo nuts, Kay. What a way to go. Hey, I just realized that yo-yo backwards is oy-oy!! Fruit!

I have seen the fruit thing on a few topics but every time I do I get confussed and don't understand is this a personal joke or can the rest of us be let in on it. I love yoyos but I don't think I want that many

OK, here's the thing: (can you tell I'm a Monk fan?) Our chapter (Kay, Missy and me) was having a crafting (and eating) afternoon. We were reading out sayings to each other to see if any were appropriate for our project. So Missy reads very seriously a quote that said something like, "the way to all peace and joy is through *something - I don't remember what*."
Well, doncha know that it sounded to me like she said "the way to all peae and joy is through fruit" and for some reason, that struck me funny. I started to laugh and pretty soon we were all laughing uncontrollably.  In between gasps, the fruit theme went on to their teasing me because I always call the Plum Pit the Peach Pit. That, of course, became the Fruit Pit and on and on.
So now it's a catch phrase. Now, when we want to inject a note of madness with each other, we cry "Fruit!" and we laugh all over again.
Maybe you kinda have to have been there. I dunno. I still laugh.

The "oy" thing is just that I realized "yo-yo" backwards is "oy-oy" which I think is funny. Fruit!

I think someone was sniffing the craft glue a little that day they sound like I do when I haven't slept in a few days sort of off my rocker. Or in this case a little FRUITy!?!?!
