maryjane if you want to make one for each person you can send them to me ( 1 way shipping) and I will put one in each package for you plus if you send one copy of your pattern with it I can photo copy that to and put one in each package too. If you want that way you only pay one shipping.

Hi Sunshine! I actually thought it would be kinda fun to send them from my home. I have lots of stationary and the time! Thanks for asking tho! Also I thought maybe some farmgirls who are not in the swap just might want to give it a try!

Do you all use one strand of thread or two? I've been using two and it seems to knot quite a bit. I bet quilting thread would be better and then I could use one strand.

Hi Kay! I use quilting thread and use one strand (quilting thread is stronger), then knot it three times. I don't have a problem with it ever knotting up while sewing. That's my 2 cents!

I'm going all dense again. If someone send 150 yo-yos in, do they get 150 yo-yos back when everyone else is doing 50 or 100? How does that work? (math was not my best subject).

yes that is how it works if you send in 50 you get 50 none of your own either. If you send in 100 you get 100 back none of your own because there are lots of people sending them in. we have 1300 yoyo's it is easy to swap out and not get your own back and still get a wide variety. You get what you send that way the math does work you put in what you get out

if you sign up for 50 and send 100 you will get 100 back. Just make sure that the increments are in 50's as it makes it easier to count them out. If you send 51 I don't want to have to keep track of who sent what odd number so just do them in numbers like 50, 100, 150, 200, 250...etc

I still don't get it, only in amounts over 100. Mostly everyone is sending 50 or 100 and they get that amount back. that much I get. But if someone sends more than that there won't be enough to go around unless at least one other person is sending more, too. (I'm not worried about scarcity - just wondering how the math works)

there are 26 sets of 50 some people are doing more than one set. There aren't enough of most colors to go around as some people have sent in 50 that are of 25 colors meaning 2 of each color so every one will have a differnt set of yo-yos no two sets will be the same but the numbers will be the same they sent in so if you send in 1 set you get 1 set if you send in 2 you get 2 and so on. trust me it is simple and will work. the people who have more sets if there are a lot of one fabric will have more duplicates than those with one set. as they may get one or two of the same yoyo in each set thus they may get 4 of one yoyo out of 100 not bad or 6 if doing 150 where as a person sending 50 would only get 2 of a same yo at most 3 depending on how many of one color a person made. I hope that makes since now. It doesn't matter how many yoyos are sent in you will never get yours back the way I am sorting and you will get a wide variety of colors and you will get what ever amount you send in is what you will get back.

no I am not running my fingers through them as they come in I check off the name and sort them into ziplock bags that way they are already being sorted out as they come in. That way I know everyone gets a wide variety as you already have some of all the ones that have already come in.

You'll be glad you did, Janet. When you wash them, they won't shrink and distort. I love playing with mine, trying this match or that one, making hexagons, triangles, etc. It's like being a kid back in kindergarten. Woo hoo!
