Actually, I just ate a plum and a nectarine. All this talk of fruit...
Have a great trip, Jessica! Don't forget to pack your....FRUIT! and CORN!
Sunshine, maybe we should create a yo-yo club or something... we can meet on Jessica's porch.

Hi Sunshine and gals, I sent in 100 yoyos a few days ago...and I keep making those.....yes, I caught the fever. Not all of these are 100% cotton but I plan on keeping them for embelishments. Made a clothspin holder with some on it...and also made a plastic bag holder from little girls dress and some yoyos. I love them yoyos! Is the next yoyo "fest" of fall or Halloween or Christmas colors? I just wanna play with fabrics. :-)
I just signed up for a class at a local sewing machine shop. All the quilting blocks and things I already knew how to do but I just wanted the inspiration and fun of doing it with others....reminds me of you guys! Linda

I'd rather do yoyos than bathe eat sleep etc. I love them....since my back is too sore to move around much it gives me something to do and keeps me sitting :-)

Hi Sunshine!
Just sent my yoyo's out but forgot to include my email/snailmail address so that the recipient can keep in touch, maybe send a photo of what she does with them. Do you gals usually do that sort of thing?? I've never done a swap and I got a little nervous as I was packaging them up...afraid I forgot something... and I did! Oh well. Please feel free to pass that info on to the recipient is she would like to keep in touch.
I can't stop making yoyo's. I need to teach my two daughters to do it. It will be a homeschool "art/handcraft" project this fall:)
Till later- Carrie

your yoyos will be divided up into everyones bags so not one person is getting them all. So that was ok that you forgot those things. I hope you did send a sase to make it easy on me with your address. it is easy to teach the kids my kids have been making them for about two years and they started at age 3 1/2 6 and 7 1/2 so I am sure yours can do it to. the 3 1/2 year old did have some issues with it but she could trace hers out easy enough

Sunshine, Sent my yo-yos your way this morning. Included my return envelope with postage already on it. Have continued making these. They are really additive aren't they? I love it and I found a plastic cd to use. It is clear plastic that came in one of the cd players. Weird but makes a great yo-yo template. As no one cared to claim it, it is now in my craft tools. What fun this has been. I think I may brave 2 sets on the next swap. Hugs, Denise
