Elizabeth, I am so sorry it's taking me a while to get your potholders to you. I always take longer on projects than I think I will, but this time I'm having to do the stitching by hand, lol, so it's coming along, slowly but surely. :)

Blessings,

Jodi

Elizabeth, your package of soaps arrived! They are delicious, divine, I don't know whether to eat them or suds up with them or sleep with them (G-rated thoughts, ladies, because the soap makes the sheets and pillows smell great!

Anyway, I've already used up one heel of soap in the tub; part of the fun was choosing which piece to use, and then hiding the others in places to scent towels, closets, etc. as they air dry.

These are absolutely gorgeous - thanks for sharing your leftover bits with us. I'm putting together a thank you package to send to you in return.

Can you tell us what some of the other color combinations are? The teal/aqua colored one is awesome. And the orange-y one, is that pumpkin?

Thanks, I am glad you like them. Depending on what soap you have been using, you should notice a difference in your skin in about 3-4 showers.
The teal one with the blue swirl(sometimes the swirl doesnt make it to the end) is Inner peace. A blend of Spearmint, peppermint and eucalyptus eo's. the orange one with the black specks is Tangerine, orange and clove eo's.

The thought crossed my mind; that after using this luscious soap for a while, my skin should obviously feel terrific, too!

Thanks, again. Are you open to second offerings, or am I just being greedy now? I want to share some!

Hi Elizabeth: I got the yummy soap today!! I am so excited about it that I am going to run up and take a bath ASAP. Got the fabric for your placemats today and will get busy on that tonight and tomorrow. I love the fabrics and hope you do too. My friends who work at the shop loved the selections, especially when I told them your husband is Swedish and you are using blues in your kitchen. I am leaving for Vermont on Saturday (again) and will mail it all before then.

Can I mail them to the return address on the package you sent me? I assume that is your home, right? I would hate for it to arrive on Saturday and you would not get them until you went back to work.

Thanks again!! You are a dream soap maker!

I got the soaps last night Elizabeth.... WOW!!!! They smell incredible!!!!! Thank you!!

I've got yours almost completely ready to go. I'm looking for something special around town to tuck in with the hand-made goodies, though, and having a hard time finding it. It may be this Friday before I can get the pkg in the mail to you. It IS coming, though. No worries about that!

Blessings.

Hi Elizabeth: Your package is on its way. I put tracking on it so that if it gets lost, we will be able to see where it is. All the problems with the USPS has made me nervous. Maybe all this farmgirl mail is more than they can handle lately. I hope you are happy with the package. It was fun making the placemats. (Except for the serger incident! which I am sure my neighbors are still talking about! :)

Well today I got home to Kati and Sewgirlie packages. Oh my! These are for my new kitchen, and not only are they perfect, beautiful, but it would seem like they were chatting and coordinated them together. I will post a picture later... the battery needs charged.

From Kati: These feel so good! I may snag a few from the kitchen to use as face clothes. Kati also sent this pretty pin from an Alaskian artist... And a postcard from Alaska which is just a beautiful state!

Look at how these look together with Sheryl-Lyn's

From Sheryl-Lyn: These are going to look so perfect in the breakfast nook on the table.
Take a good look at the towels... not only are they embroidered with chickens, but there is a mini apron pinned to each!

Wow !

You probably figured this all out on your own because you're sharp as a tack, but there is some more John Deere stuff on the other side of the pocket. I think the pocket is a bit snug but I hope he enjoys it anyway...nice stuff for the kitchen, girls!!

Elizabeth,
I haven't forgotten you - package is being mailed out to you via USPS today!

Thanks again, and I must admit, my skin feels wonderful after using your soap for the last 3 weeks or so...I don't even have to put lotion on my legs anymore! Satiny smooth, and DH loves the scents, too!

No, it just happens that sometimes I think "Oh, I want to make sure I make up something special" and then a day or week goes by as different things are sought out ... anyway, you were so sweet to share your wonderful soaps with us, and it sounds like you are ending up with some wonderful things to help decorate your new kitchen!
