This is my dad's old tractor. My father-in-law is practicing his photography skills. He took a pic of it on the fourth of July when we were all at my sister's place.

What a great picture! He took it at a great time of day too! The sky is an awesome color and all the colors just really pop in this photo! The tractor is really cute, too!

Rebecca,
I just love that photo. Did he have a filter on the camera?

Wow, you should make a print of that and sell as a postcard or other art

Hmm. I don't know about using a filter. He did edit it with a special format. I think it's actually 3 pictures in one. I am not sure what format he used. He practices a lot on digital photography. The weather was great. You can almost hear the cicadas using your imagination, can't you? And feel the chiggers & mosquitos buzzin' and bitin'! Ha!

It is a beautiful shot and a great tractor. It does have a digital quality....he must really know how to create great photographs.

I read a book ahwile ago about a farmer who kept his old Case tractor around. It did not run anymore, but he was always working on it trying to get it started and talking to it as he worked....turns out the tractor (it was a weird story) had a personality of it's own, and came alive at the end.....this photo could be that tractor! As if it could start up and go on it's own....

That's too funny. Yes, I agree this picture looks like the tractor could just start up at any second.

Believe it or not, this is the tractor on which I learned how to drive (as in drive a car). Most of my motoring skills are due to driving this tractor around my parents' five acres!

I have only had 1 speeding ticket and have only had 1 formal accident (though I have had a couple close calls). The 1 accident I did have I'm going to blame on pregnancy hormones and lack of spatial awareness!!! (I hit a parked vehicle while trying to get out of a little parking lot with a narrow street). LOL!! Otherwise, I've been a pretty safe driver of the last 17-18 years. I think more people should take driver's training on a tractor!!!
