I posted a picture of the pretty tablecloth I got for a dollar, the same place I got all that sewing stuff. This is an extra nice one. I like to buy them even if they have some damage for sewing projects or for the picnic table. NANCY JO
Good deal for a dollar. I to went on a tablecloth thing for awhile to repurpose for curtains. Now I have to many. LOL I also used them for daughters birthday tea party.(victorian style) On your sewing finds what was the wood piece used for?

Holy mackerel, motherlode again! Why am I NOT surprised to see that the author of this "one dollar lace tablecloth" is you, Nancy Jo? Beautiful and wow, what a sewing haul. (The wooden thingy was used to darn socks, by the way....and maybe other clothing too).. Can't wait to see some photos of the creations you whip out with your stash now.... Good job! Nance
Yep--It's called a darning egg. I remember darning socks when I was little. Nothing throw away at our house. I could do a pretty good weave on the socks. MB
