Hi Jenny,
Do you remember ages ago, a few of us were chatting about your wonderful new quilt fram and about getting hubbies to make one? Well, on your blog, you had it set up with a gorgeous autumn toned quilt and I was wondering if that was finished? I would so love to see it completed - it looked just lovely in the frame and I couldn't even see it all properly!
Mind you, if anyone asked me about a project that I had out, there is a 99% chance that it would not be finished! Oh why do I keep starting new things when there are others unfinished!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Thanks so much for the photos, Jenny! I could tell it was gorgeous on the frame, but it looks fantastic. Just the colours I love. Your mom must have loved it! At least you finish yours - I would be ashamed to admit how many I have sitting around in various stages of completion!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Wonderful Jenny! Gosh, is there no end to your farmgal talents? That is one prize quilt - your mom is lucky to have a daughter like you! Gorgeous!!!! Are the leaf panels and the writing done in applique or were they printed fabric?

They were a printed panel..I am not THAT good. I couldn't resist when I saw the panel..and it was fun to do the quilting around the parts..hand quilting is my favorite part.

Jenny, the quilt is just too marvelous for words. I bet your mother was just over the moon when she got it for Christmas. The colors, etc. are wonderful. What a great job. Keep up the good work.

Peace and love.

Thanks Sheila. I am due to put another quilt on the frame. Now that all my seedlings are in the garden instead of in the front window I can put the blinds back down and put my quilt frame there again..in the living room. I like to "escape" to that room while the kids watch tv or play games during the heat of day in the summer...when we don't go fishing!
