I have received so many wonderful cards of encouragement this past week. Even two adorable little aprons....I will post them on my blog soon. And Ronna.......You really shouldn't have.......I will be sending something back to you dear....you are such a sweet thing.
My life has been such a roller coaster. I know many of you have been wondering and most of you have guessed, so I'll briefly tell you in a nutshell.
He asked for a divorce, our marriage is well worth saving, we are working it out. We love each other, but were neglectful of each other over the years. We were also neglectful of ourselves as individuals.
I am purging not only materialistic debris but also emotional debris. We are still going to sell, but not on his original timetable....the move was his idea, not mine. We are modifying those plans too.
I have put my sewing away for the time being....so much to do to make things right around here. But when I start again, it will be a thing of love again. Don't want to sew anxiety into my stitches.
So again, thank you dear friends. I'll update my blog later with more thank yous!!
Love and hugs to all my friends, G

Georgann, Thank you for your honesty and a reminder to not neglect ourselves or our mates. So easily can we get caught up in everyday life and not realize how it can erode our relationships. Thanks, will continue to pray. Carol Sue

| Hey sweetie!!!!! i'm glad it sounds like things are working out. You are an amazing person. After being married almost 30 years, I tell you its gotta be the toughest thing I've ever done!!! Even tougher than having 4 kids. I probably would have gone home to family if I'd have had one-but I'm glad I hung in there. My grandma always said "you know the devil you got- you don't know the devil you could get!!!" LOL! Honey, we are HERE for you! We love you lots and if ya need to vent ,cry or laugh just come to us!! too bad we can't all meet for coffee or better yet, MARGARITAS , chips and sala!!! love you!!! |

Georgann, So glad to hear you are working things out. It is the people in our lives that are important and not the things. Sometimes we get caught up in the busyness. Praying for you both. Denise

Life just gets in the way, doesn't it? Thank goodness there is an opportunity to work on it--I commend you both for not turning tail and running away. It can be just as easy (but not in the long run)to do just that.
You are both in my thoughts--there is a new day dawning!

| Georgann, glad to see you posting, even though you have so much on your plate. Shows your irrepressible, inner strength. I had a boss years back who gave me some good advice, and it is good on life in general issues. Never run away from a problem; run towards it and fix it. Easy to say, hard to do, but well worth it. You continue to be in my prayers. Rooting for your happiness! Nance |

Hi Aunt George!
I am so happy to see you back a bit!! I am sorry to hear that your husband asked for a divorce. I hope you two work it out since you say you both still love each other.
You are such a sweet, loving, (and sassy!) woman! YOU are worth being loved and worked for too!
There is so much that I want to say, that I can't even put it down straight! LOL! I just want you to know that we love you very much and are thinking about you! Nora says hi- or actually she coos at you but it's the same thing! :)

Aunt George I went through the same thing 12 years ago. I fought like hell to keep our marriage together and here we are happier than ever. It was hard work but worth it and I proved to myself that I am not a quitter. Stay strong and know that we are all praying for you and DH. Hugs, Kathy |

| My heart is with you and your family. Love is worth the time and effort it takes to groom it and maintain it. You and your dh will probably fall in love all over again in a totally different way that is more mature and even more pure. Good luck with all of that. |

Aunt George, you and your husband are in my prayers. It is so easy to get busy and distracted by life. I'm so glad you're fighting! Blessings,

Georgeann, I'm sorry to hear that your marriage was facing trouble, but perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. With everything on the table between you, you can give it a go again and work for the things that really matter to the both of you in your relationship and for yourselves. As long as you both still have love, hang in there. Sometimes life just sweeps us along with the current and time gets away from us, but this is your moment to take a breather and figure things out. I have a good feeling that you and your husband will work (and marriage is work, isn't it?) through this to come out stronger and more in love than ever in the end. And we'll all be here to laugh, cry, yell, rally, and just be with you throughout it all!
