Well, I'm addicted to making primitive dolls. I finished this one today - her name is Gertrude Grace, Gertie for short. She's a gift for my mother. Tonight I started on a wall hanging and once that's done, I'll probably make another doll. I also need to make an apron, a headcovering, and the list goes on and on! I love to craft!!!!

Ok, Rachel,
NOT FUNNY!!!! my name is Grace Gertrude, yep, named after my Aunt & Great Aunt (Grace) & my German Grandmother, Gertrude....& I haven't looked that skinny or worn piggytails since I was 11..... LOL!
&&& my DH know's I hate it when he calls me Gertie, so he does it to get me going!
Your doll is adorable, whish I looked that cute!!!

Tooo Cute! Can she come out and play? She needs to bring her Jump Rope with her That was the visual I got when I first looked at her....her pony tails flying in the air while jumping rope!

Rachel,
I showed your picture of "Gertrude Grace" to my mom, she nearly piddled her pant's when she saw it. She said if it had been blond it would have been the spittin' image of me.... she said my hair was always in piggytails.
I guess if your doll is cute that makes me cute too! kool, I can live with that!!!
