How do I keep a topic I posted active even if there is no action on it every day from other users. Do I need to go in once a day and 'bump' it?

Another way to do it is just go to the topic and "edit" one of you posts even if you don't change a thing it will assume that a change was posted and "bump" it up to the top of the list.
