On this day every year I start keeping Christmas in the back of my head, thinking it's 6 months away! I begin to think about things to make for special people, and if I see something on sale in a store, I pick it up and put it away. I have so many projects that I want to get started on...good thing I've got 6 months! Anyone else do this sort of thing? Lu

Luanne, THANKS so much that it is 6 months away! Better put on my thinking cap now and make my list! Hope to get some great gift making ideas from the farmgirls!

Yep - I do it. In fact, I keep a list of who I need to buy for so when that perfect gift is found or made, I know who will be the recipient. It makes for better gift giving AND I don't stress as the holiday approaches. Helps on the budget too as things are found/made all year round. (Since the items are documented and placed in a 'gift area' - I don't forget who is getting what and where I put it. :) I even keep the previous year's list so I won't give the recipient something similar.
Hubby's birthday today = Christmas!
