Thankyou Maryjane Lee. I posted a picture of an old book I got today. BLACK BEAUTY.Seems it was first published in 1877, Mine looks to be very old but I can't find a date in it.But for .25 cents what a neat old book.
No I will not be entering the pin keep contest, but love seeing what everyone is making.

I love your crackle glass bowl! I am going to buy a bunch of those as centerpieces for the tables at my wedding!

took a look--looks good. Your pinkeeps are delightful. Happy garage sale-ing. I have an old Black Beauty somewhere--I should find it. MB

Oh, I agree; really nice handiwork, but then I expect nothing less from your nimble fingers, Nancy Jo! I don't think I have a copy of Black Beauty, but what a great story. I do have a copy of Beautiful Joe that an aunt gave me for Christmas about 35 years ago; that is also a great story. Have fun searching for treasures today!! Nance

Oh, Nancy Jo,
Your pinkeeps are gorgeous!! I hope you reconsider entering MJ's contest!! The entries are beautiful and yours is right up there on the beauty and skill scale!! Throw caution to the wind and go for it!!
