I had a find today... a bag of embroidery patterns.
Here are the ones up for trade, as a group:
1) Dutch girl, full skirt and cap, six "work days" pictures 2)southern bell figures for cross stitch and embroidery 3)mixed envelope with fruit, dog, flowers, dutch people, tea pot and tea cup 4) large fruits, pie, berries 5) medium fruits with leaves 6) simplicity #1858 embroidery pattern of china dishes, goblets, and glasses 7)"black mammy/aunt jemima" days of the week (sorry to describe this way but they are very stereotypical) 8) birds, butterfly, flowers, fruit, scotty dogs... in a gingham motif
Just email me if you'd like these; and the trade doesn't need to be anything big

Lizabeth, Since I have my mothers "mammy" toaster cover doll, I'd love to have the embroidery transfers to go with it. I will email you privately also. Ronna |

Any chance you'll put the leftovers, if you have any, in your shop at Homespun? |

Kay, could you send me an email with what patterns you would like and your address?
Tina Michelle, Ronna has put her name on the aunt jemima set, but will be sending a copy to you. Could you email me your address and I will send you the scotty dog set directly?
Sherri, no, unfortunately vintage and antique goods can't be sold in the crafts section at Homespun. Oh, and I found out yesterday they will be closing the store the end of July. There is some talk that someone is purchasing the name and will be finding a new location but that is all speculation. I am quite disappointed as I only just moved in there. Let me know if you'd like me to send you any of the transfers.

Lizabeth, Do you still have the dutch girls? I would love to have them. Also whoever has the scotty dogs would it be possible to get a copy. DD loves them and that would make a fun surprize for her. Thank you. Carol Sue
Life is short, enjoy every moment. |

Heather - that's terrible about Homespun. It sounds like they kind of mislead you when you rented it. I really would like a transfer (any), but I don't know if I have anything you'd want. I could make a hat for your kidlet maybe........ |

Sherri: Well, the front counter lady (I can't remember her name right now) felt awful. She had no idea this announcement was coming, and the store owners were only given a couple days notice by the building's owners that they were going to re-lease it. The front counter lady was quite appologetic and assured me had she known she would have not rented a space to me. I would like to find perhaps another store/mall, but now I am going to look at the bazarre circuit for the coming months. Do send me your address and I'll put some patterns in the mail to you... just something simple in trade is fine.
Carol Sue: I haven't yet heard back from Kay, but if she doesn't want the dutch girls, they're yours! Just send me an email with your address.

That's really too bad about Homespun - there's really no other place like it that I'm aware of. I was in a similar store in Puyallup, but I don't think it's around anymore either. I'll e-mail you my address. Thanks |

And, Heather, if you need any leads on craft shows and bazaars, I have the current Northwest Festivals Directory if you haven't seen that. |

Thank you for your kindness, Sheri. I did get a subscription to craft master news, and that has some washington events listed. I haven't heard of Northwest Festivals... if I don't find shows with good dates in craft master I'll definitely email you to ask for suggestions from the directory.
