Hi! I have never grown green beans before and was wondering how many I should plant for one person, plus the occasional company? I would can or freeze them and I do like my green beans. Anyone have experience on how many plants I should try? Thanks for your help! Judy

I have never grown them before either. I planted peas for the first time this year and just planted every pea that came in the packet. Maybe we will have to report back to each other and see how our production went this year!
I'm thinking I better plan more beans then...I'm just afraid I might not get much, I have no idea what the yield is off of one beanstalk...other than one Giant, of course :-)
