I just got home from work and my box was on the front porch!!! I love everything! Thank you all for the wonderful things that you all shared. I especially love Stacey's Drama Queen soap -- I think I'm giving that one to my 13 year old daughter. Can't wait for bath time to use a new soap and a new wash cloth! Now I just have to decide which soap to use first.

I, too, had my surprise package last night when I got home - too much fun! I cannot believe that Jess made a FULL apron - on her treadle machine, and that it is reversible!!! It is so pretty, I won't want to wear it for soaping and get those oil stains all over it. Same with the beautiful hot pads - soooo nice - I may use those in my "Farmgirl" kitchen and retire some older ones to the soap room in the basement. And I love the journal that came with the hot pad and the grocery tote. I will have to put the tote in the car so it is ready for me when I make a quick trip to the grocery. The soaps are wonderful, and I do like the Drama Queen - it makes me want to work on my "swirling" techniques, which are sorry, to say the least. And patchouli is one of my favorite scents - can't wait to get into that! Sunshine and kt, thanks for the wash cloths - your knitting is so even; when I try to knit or crochet cloths, I always end up with some kind of trapezoid shape, certainly not a square or rectangle! Everything is wonderful and lovely - the soaps are on display on my coffee table for now, until they slowly but surely migrate to the bath tub! Thanks, everyone!
We come from the earth, we go back to the earth, and in between, we garden! |

I smell like Zen Tea today!! E., your soap is wonderful.
I love the hot pad and the apron is wonderful! It's already hanging on a hook in my pantry. Who did the little fuzzy looking washcloth? I love the yarn.
Thanks again to all!

Jess - Your aprons are WONDERFUL!! I feel like I owe you so much more than just a bar of soap!! Wow!!! Even my 15 yo son admired it appreciatively when I put it on. (he loves to cook)
DH gets the bath salts - he prefers baths over showers.
So many soaps with shea butter - I had to quit using shea because my DD has latex allergies and shea butter makes her react the same as latex. Now I plenty of shea to play with.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! This swap was well worth the wait.

thanks for the comps girls...i cannot make soap, and do not have the time to invest in trying it out and tweaking it, so I really hold your soaps in high regard. thank you all...and i cannot count well enough to knit or crochet anything that is eventually square, so i love the washcloths oh so much! And george your potholders rock...everyone who has seen them loves them! |

The next time we do a swap we need to make sure to put little cards on our items -- that way we know who to thank. I didn't know who did the potholders or the apron were from. Now I know and thank you so much -- I love them!

The 15 year old was dressed up with a shirt and tie (what can I say, he's a clothes horse) and wanted to eat something, so he put on the apron to cover his tie. Nothin' like a guy with an apron on...*L* Now if we can just get him to cook like it looks like he was while wearing the apron...
Crunchy crafty goodness and psychoses...;-)http://nashbabe.blogspot.com |

Do you believe I haven't been able to get to the post office yet?!
I'm sure they're having a wonderful time smelling my package! I get all mail at the PO, and I work 30+ miles away. PO is open 6 a.m till 5 pm, and I've been sooooo busy at work, I've been there from 5am till 5 or 6 pm every day this last week, then DH and I were out of town yesterday, so I didn't get to the PO then either! And, Monday and Tuesday will again be long days at work, so I won't be able to pick up the box until Wed at the earliest. AAARRRRRGGH!
Just when I could use a good soak in the bathtub! I'm glad you girls are all enjoying the goodies!

yes, i have left her a phone message to give me a call. She just opened her store yesterday and her partner's aunt died, so she is running everything solo right now, so I suspect I may not hear from her immediately. |

I actually saw her this weekend, and she said she will find the delivery confirmation some time this week. And she will get things all worked out.
Also, La Marguerite Farms...Elizabeth still needs your address. Your package is waiting to be sent, but she cannot send with out your address. |

I emailed Missy's address to Elizabeth over two weeks ago. Missy is moving in 2 weeks so it would probably be best to send her box to me. Jessica - I will email you with my address -- could you pass it on to Elizabeth? Thanks.
