I'm cleaning out my linen closet, girls, and these have always been my favorite (so much so I purchased a whole bolt of fabric to cover a chair to match....but that never happened), and they've been sitting in tissue for a number of years. Since we've redone our home, these no longer go with our decor, and as much as I love them, they have to go. They are really nice quality valances, made of apholstery fabric, I paid quite a bit of money for them, and though they say "dry clean recommended" you can wash them, low agitation, cold water. They measure 76 1/2 inches across X 15 inches long, and are backed in the same fabric, not white.

First is a photo of MOST of the valance, I couldn't seem to zoom out enough:

The next two are "studies" of the pattern, all types of natural things--shells, sticks, stones, fern leaves, books, etc...lovely!!!

I'd be very glad to swap or simply donate to your cause. I hate to throw them away or give them to a thrift, though I know Nancy would pick them up in a heart beat!!!!!

Let me know, and I'll hit the post office on Monday!

My daughter loves this kind of stuff (nature study) and I'm sure I could use these in her room. I don't see an e-mail address for you, but I wanted to say that I really don't have anything to swap, but I'd be happy to return the postage cost to you.

Oh! How wonderful! Folks want my stuff!
Let's see...there ARE two of them...my email doesn't seem to work anymore through this site, so I will give you my lilyj7303@yahoo.com email and send me your addresses...

Anne--would you need both of them?

E--could you do with one? I'd love for you both to have one, but if someone absolutely needs two...then there we are.

One is fine with me. There's only one window in my daughter's room and I would probably make pillows with the other valance. So Elizabeth can certainly have one. If she needs both of them, I'm also willing to give up the other. :-)
