WOW! My kids used to come home with kittens and puppies. That horse is much bigger. I bet Kylee is all excited. NANCY JO

Are those the same horse? You both looked/(now own) at the same horse? How wonderful! I love how small the world gets when you talk with farmgirls!
The horse (both?) look beautiful!

Alee, there were 33 horses at the adoption. This guy was a real looker; I saw his pic before they brought them up from Oregon so was interested in seeing him first hand. I decided he was just a bit too jumpy for me to work with right now, on account of Sunny being here (my little challenging 13 hand wild one), but am thrilled he found a home with someone who's got horse experience. I was worried his good looks would find him with a newbie who'd find themselves way out of their league.
MB, check out the mustang forum; there are a few of us who've adopted here on this side of the cascades. Makes it nice to exchange thoughts, ideas and training tips with others who've experienced wild. They're not the same as domestic, they think differently. Smarter, really, it just takes a bit of time to gain the trust of some of them. http://mustanghorses.proboards107.com
You know who he reminds me of? Flame, of the Black Stallion books. Except not Arabian; more a quarter horse look. Wish I'd known who your daughter was so I could have said hi!
