does anyone know where i can find a functional watertight wooden bucket? a website link? a brick & mortar store? anyone have one that they want to sell or trade?

Try finding someone who does Civil War or Revolutinary War reenacting in your area. We use wooden buckets with rope handles. Maybe they can give you a lead on a suttler ( that what we call people who sell things at reenactments). Or try a google search for suttler. Another place to check is with a company called Leman's. You can find them on the web.

Try a store that sells sauna supplies. You need a bucket to hold the water you throw on the rocks and metal doesn't work in a hot sauna. JoAnn
