Ok, so now the little notes are done and in the pockets too! Gassing up the broom to send them out on Monday. Quilting class twice today!! I am TOTALLY, COMPLETELY and HOPELESSLY behind on so many of my projects now! I am not signing up for any additional quilting classes at the shop until I am sort of up-to-date with the ones I started already. I have not been able to get into a good routine since I went back to work. Maybe this week will be more normal.
I enjoyed this swap and will start Christmas ones when I do the winter quilt blocks for that swap (can't give up the swaps...just can't!) |

| I wanted to ask you all to keep Susan (the soapmaven or notquitejunecleaver) and her family in your thoughts and prayers this week. Her Mom is home and they are just caring for her and trying to make her more comfortable. I know this time is hard on them and I thought you all may want to lift them up in prayers or however you keep someone in your thoughts. They all just need comfort,mercy, and peace, and I know they would appreciate you remembering them. She wrote a beautiful note on her blog today and I thought you may like to go check it out and leave her a note of encouragement and love!!! Her web address is up by her last post. |

( Tropical deppression or low pressur system brewing all around us.. )
THIS will bring one on everytime! So.. naturaly I'm completely medicated..

SHIRLEY's Arrived.. BUT GUESS what was just left in my mailbox..& NOT requiring a signature!!?
See.. This Mail Carrier Is a Complete nut job.. I tell ya she's over the top Girls!
They are all safe & Sound now though..
In the tub with the rest of their Hallowen Mini Apron Sister's!!
SO Adorable Too.. Teentsy little Pumpkins spilling out from every angle too..
Just too cute!! I love these.. & the shapes are so perfectly sweet!!
So Bonne.. This means that I think we are just waiting on three if I'm counting right now..
Kathy.. (Ktknits..) Jess' & Carmen.. So we should be all Finito this week I bet!!
& I'll sort them out & ship these little Babies off to their new homes!!

shoot... i just got home..i need to finish mine and get em in the mail..life is moving too fast...i hate being last. oh well...today is Johns birthday so i am trying to pull off a miracle and getthesed done and figure out about his bday as well.

I'd have had a nervous breakdown long ago if I were Jessica, but
I guess she's made of "pioneer stock" ~LOL!!! You know, those women
that can endure whatever hardships are heaped on them. Never a dull moment in the
La Bella household.;)
We've got plenty of time until Halloween~truthfully, I'm in no hurry to wind this up (for all the heck I give Jess).
I don't know about some of you other gals, but I had the most difficult time working on these mini's. Maybe it's because I never sewed doll clothes since I didn't have a daughter , or it's the redundancy of the task, I don't know, it was mentally draining to me.

i know.. at 1st when i started them i thought i'd never get through them.. SOO teeny.. & the details.. ish!!
Now i REALLY look forward to them..
i have to say though that THIS last batch REALLY took me the longest i think.. I went overboard.. tried to out do myself..
i don't THINK i was being competitive.... !
Jess.. truly the Pioneer Woman.. more then just burning the candle at both ends.. She must have them coming from every orafice..

One too many whines about a migraine & they'd be kicking my sorry butt in a gully somewhere leaving me for the Vultures!
They'd get to the end of the line & that poor man that had ordered me as his mail order bride would be holding up that picture waiting ..looking.. finally asking where his bride was..
& after some foot shuffeling & muffled answers ..
Calamity Jess would stride up with a baby on each hip & say..
"Yep.. that gal was just soft.. Whined ..& belly ached from Abalene to Tuscon! we had to leave her behind back a few hunerd mile.. so infn you want a good wife.. you best start writin' yerself another letter Mister! & THIS time you BEST order some better Stock! & be more specific ! You Best mention you don't want one that s ALREADY touched in the head this time!! "

I come by it quite honestly though..
I blame it on 30 years of marriage to THIS man i'm with.. but really..
You should know my Parents.. Wow.. There is a story or two.. ok.. several books..
I'm good with it though..
