Thanks for the good vibes and positive comments. I am the "Pollyanna" of my building and that's a good thing. I get stuff done, too, because I stay above the fray and just plug along. This year I was asked to be a union rep and that is ok. I will hear a bunch of problems, but we do have a morale issue that needs to be addressed by the board and the admin.
I will sew every night and just keep on keepin on! LOl See, I am still smiling :( oh, this is better! :) |

Ok, I sooo need help!!!!! I am outta control,  
While out & about, I stopped in @ Joanns Fabrics & bought so more, yep, you heard me right,,,more...Christmas fabric....
So now we absolutly have to have a Christmas mini apron swap!!!!
Oh and I am still rootin' for a Western themed mini apron swap next year after the dust settles!!!

DEFINATLY!! The Christmas one!!!
& that Cowgirl one.. I just can't stand it!! I went to Joann's today too..
ok.. this is how it played out..
I think my husband has GPS or lo-jack on my car or something.. or a 'lie-0-meter on me or something..
I took off work today to spend it with my oldest Son Jeff..
Poor Jeffrey has a horribly back.. just like his old Mom.. He had a procedure today at his Pain management Dr. & I go with him.. they always put him under for what ever they do.. whether it be cortizone injections.. burning nerves.. or what ever..
( yes.. i know.. sit back down girls you'll be fine.. i won't go into any more details about what else they do to the poor guys spine..)
So.. they want to do some more tests.. Bone density.. another CT.. another MRI.. & like 3 more things,, I believe it's like 5 things total.. well.. we were forever finding places that will do them all.. one requires an Open MRI because he's actually in a sitting position while they do it.. another i understand they invert him some what.. ok.. more then enought details..
So naturally Dad calls more then a few times..
( yes..My thought too..HE could have come along.. ) But he doesn't.. he just calls through out the day for these blow by blows.. "where are ya now?.. what did they say?.. What did THAT one say?.. Why? When? " whatever.. anyway.. ran a few more errands.. went for lunch a Cracker Barrel.. Which I HATE admitting to him.. because He ALREADY thinks I am a Cracker Barrel Crack head.. So I usually leave that part out.. But naturally.. he calls while we are eating.. AT Cracker Barrel.. " Where are ya now..? WHY are you eating there? There ARE other places to eat ya know.." yes.. i'm worn out from it all..
So.. finally finsh with all of Jeffrey's things.. & drop he & all his new happy meds back at his place to sleep probably until Late Friday night.. So.. this only took from like 8:30am to about 2:30..
NOW.. My Turn.. So.. I call My husband tell him I'm finished with jeff.. & I'm done..
What's The next question out of his mouth Girls?
"So where are ya going now?"
what did i say?
"The store.."
was i lying...?
NOOoooooo..
I WAS going to the store.. I just didn't say WHICH store!!
I had EVERY intention of stopping at the grocery store on my way home.. ONCE I DID HEAD In THAT DIRECTION!!
HOWEVER!
I WAS NOT!!
GOING in that direction Just yet!
FIRST!! I think i NEEDED some Thread..
I went to my good friends house.. you all know her.. she's a lovely girl..

So then As I'm getting Alllllllllll.. my deals all cut ..

As i hung up on him.. he was still laughing..
Why on earth does he think it's funny to bust me why I am meeting with my Fabric Supplier..
I mean if I need a fix.. It's between Me.. & my Pusher.. Right?

Thank you for that one Kathie!!! YOu are always good for my need for entertainment....how about stand up comedy...you could quit the day job and travel around..imagine all the farmgirls you could meet...and all the fabric stores you could visit..maybe you could write newspaper reviews about them..a nationally syndicated column..ya know like restaurant critics...what is that guys name..he travels the country eating at all the posh places!! YOu could be him, but her and fabric instead of food...NEVERMIND!!!!

You are one smart thinkier pretty darn quickly to come up with those good answers. I don't have a cell, maybe this is a very good thing!!!!! out the money and he goes behind me and gets it and tells the lady, she needs this. He is tooo funny. I know there are times he gets major bummed over not being able to do things, but whenever there is a chance he is one giving guy. I on the other hand, am major B************** lately. Man he looks at me crossed eyed and I am snapping at him. He told me I haven't been sewing nearly enough. LOL

Do You know what he did?
I had taken a bath.. & came in the living room & dumped on the couch were BOTH of my bags from Joann's!! Jerk!
( I had just nonchalontly tossed them in the sewing room when i got home as I came strolling in with groceries too.. you know.. kind of an all in one jesture.. Not to make a big deal out of it..) We messed around the house awhile.. made dinner.. watched.. uck..of all things.. football on TV .. & that was it.. So I took my Bath .. & then came out to THIS..
I said What .. Are you doing..
He had this smirk on his face.. " Oh.. I was just looking for Thread.."
No.. I REALLY don't like this man..
He thinks he's clever..
I think I'm going to go out to the shed this morning & drag in a couple power tools.. & arrange them around the dining room table.. with some nice pretty Fall Leaves.. you know.. like Center pieces.. I think that Grinder standing on end will make a Nice little Scarecrow..

enjoy the clothes pin swap.... it is fun to be creative & fun to receive them. I plan to use mine for hanging my aprons & vintage hankies. I have a bunch of them in a large clear glass cookie jar. They look so cute in there.

What are you chicken..cannot find enough time to glue something cute to some tiny naked clothespin in the name of farmgirls across the country????
