Alrighty Girls!!
You asked for it.. So here we go!
So it doesn't get over whelming..I think we should do groups of 10.
I know.. I want more then 10 Mini Apron's on My Garland.. But let's play this first one by ear.. & have just 10 in each group.. & if you think tou can manage a second set of 10.. then sign up for a second round..!
We'll each make 10 Mini Apron's about the size of the Palm of your hand.. Make sure that you have some nice long Apron strings so they can be tied to the next Apron.. You might include at least one tiny Pocket..Just like we do for the ones we send to our Sister Farm Girls when they haven't been feeling so well.. & you can include a little paper wish if you'd like.. just like you do a little tuck in!!
Make sure to put your name somewhere on your Apron So we can all admire it later & remember who made it..
So let's do it this way..
We'll have a friendly deadline of July 15th to get them in to me..
E-mail me your info.. Addresses.. phone etc.. & i'll forward on my address if you don't have it yet..
Once i recieve them.. I'll send them out in groups of 10..
& I'll do it as someone had suggested in the Mother's Day Swap that I was in..They'll just go out in the order that they are recieved in!

You'll have to bear with me! & help me out.. As this will be my very first time Hosting a swap..!!
When you send in your mini Aprons to Swap.. you'll also send in your Postage.. which i have to figure out.. As I said.. So new at this.. I am asking for help.. A couple people are helping me with that end of it.. so i'll post that info tomorrow hopefuly.. ( Can't imagine you'll get yours all finished tonite & ready to mail yet anyway!!) & remember .. no rush!! you have until July 15th to get these to me..
i wanted to give you plenty of time since I know we have quite a few swaps & other projects going on right now too..
 .. ONE .. more thought on this one.. !!
I think it was Frannie that thought of this.. While we are making our 10 each for the Swap.. let's each make that 11.. & that extra one will be for MARY JANE!! So once we get them ALLLLLL in & finished.. & send her a package from ALL of us, with one from everyone that made one for the swap!! So.. She'll have her very own Mini Apron Garland too.. Even bigger & better !!She'll have gotten not just the 10.. but one from all the groups of 10 that we get!!!

ok.. i think that covers everything that I'm thinking for Now.. But i KNOW that i've left somethings out.. we'll figure it out as we go.. But.. We'll have a good time doing it!

ok i am in, you know it.  They can just send an extra envelope inside their own with theri aprons, self addressed, with the same postage on it that it took to mail to you. Make sense Kathie...jess |

Hey, Kathie- Yes, those were my tiny aprons.  They are a bit bigger than 3x5 though. But I figure if we are somewhere in that ballpark they should be fine. I have a problem with measuring. I don't do it. But, I will force myself to for this.

Hey there,
I'm in for this one!
And I think smoothiejuice told me to use a pint sized canning jar as my "apron form".....If it fits this then it's a good size...
Let me know otherwise if there is a different size to make.

Also, do you mail it out in a big envelope or what?

Once you get doing a couple.. you can harly get through the one.. before your thinking of something really cool to do on the next one!! or a great idea to do WITH them!!! These are just too awesome!!
I'm addicted.. i've decided i must have a very addictive personalty! Such a good thing i don't live anywhere near Vegas baby!
Michelle..I'm thinking, like jess said.. If you mail them in a nice sized envelope to me.. I will be able to send yours back to you in your same envelopes.. Just swtitching out the labels.. ya know?
But no.. I haven't gotten the postage down yet.. I am going to the post office tomorrow though & should have it unless someone comes up with it for me today..
yes.. crud.. i am actually sitting here at work right now..
On the ones that i did For Susan & her Mama.. I stutched their name on the teeny little pocket.. ( Which you DON"T have to do their names at all.. i just did..) & then my name.. I stitched on the bottom right hand corner of the hem.. But I know someone told me that they just wrote it even on the inside with fabric ink soewhere.. put it where ever YOU want.. & however YOU want to Baby Doll..
