hi iam new to farmgirl i found the magazine at a store about 10 min . from my home. i fell in love it had everthing i am in to. i am happy to find you all i am in s. e. wisconsin any one near me? i need help on rasberrys can they be moved or can i take cuttings to root ? cheryl of s.e.

I'm sure there's a few people closer to you than me.
I'm no help with raspberries (the neighbor lets me pick from his patch).
I'm sure somone will have answers for you, this forum has such wonderfully smart people.

You can dig up canes to relocate them. We bought 50 canes of various varieties this spring. They're all in bloom now.

I'm not sure what variety of raspberry you have, but I started with 10 plants and have expanded my raspberries to 50 plants now. My variety fruits on the previous year's wood, so there's no shortage of new shoots popping up all the time. I just dig them up and plant them along the fence line in the garden. The baby robins so appreciate my efforts...lol
