I'd need to see the whole plant Tina, but could it be Jacob's ladder? How big (tall) is the plant?

Your pictures are really pretty!

It looks like Monarda (M. didyma). What do you think Diane? Also called Bee Balm. Do the leaves small good? MB

I was going to say Bee Balm too, but the leaves are a lot more narrower than on my plants. So I'm not sure.

such a neat plant. I was reading that they used to use this plant for tea after the Boston Tea Party event.

Your flower garden is wonderful! I just love it! I don't have any flowers right now, but am hoping to maybe plant some before the summer is out :)

i just love it too, and absolutely love taking photos of them...as photography is a love of mine and flowers rank right up there too. :0)I always thought I'd love to run a plant nursery. May one day yet..dunno..but I just adore flowers. So glad that you liked them too Alee.

Tina,
Your pictures of your flowers made my day. Been down with some kind of bug and that was a joy and a delight. Thanks. What was the flower that was the first on the top right. It looks like a day lily. Haven't seen one that color. Amazing. I like day lilies and have gotten mine from friends. Hope you feel better, have a great day.

Hey Carol, that is a daylily/a new variety I'll have to look at the tag tomorrow to let you know. I forget the name of it right off hand
glad I helped perk up your day. I'm all better now myself, hope you get better soon too.

ooh Frannie hon, you are gonna love it. it may take a while for things to start popping up..about 6 weeks.. and some things like poppies in a wildseed mix will probably not sprout up until next year for you because poppies need a cold snap first, but things like the bee balm and lunnaria and other fun things will start popping up and it will be so fun for you.
I have something new every week I tell you..it is so much fun.
