Naomi...very impressive, you did a beautiful job making the dress. And it looks wonderful on you. Reading your blog gives me ideas for "stuff" I have that you would be able to make use of in sewing. As I go through boxes and such, will be filling one for you.
Pin keeper is so sweet...and I don't recognize what you used for it that I sent, so you'll have to be kind and tell me.

Wow, Naomi!! I wish I had a figure like yours. Wish I had a figure, period. Ah well. They were called shirtwaist dresses, Mary Beth. Back in the day when I was young.

she is a gung ho type of gal..and I as her mom try to encourage her in every thing she wants to pursue. She could sew rings around me..I encouraged her to start her own little online shop this year too. I'm glad she did. I do think that the best thing a parent can do is just keep giving their child wings and encouragement.
