Does anyone in the area have use for 3 or 4 used hog feeders? They have potential...they also have rust. A crafty person with a shop could patch the rusted out parts and use them as hog feeders, or if you don't have hogs, they struck me as making nice holders for potting soil.

I don't know much about hog feeders, but DH is pitching these. You'd need a truck to get them, but they are yours for the asking. I just don't have the time to re-purpose them. They have a "hopper" at the top, which you open, pour grain in, and then it separates into chutes. At the bottom, there are little doors the hogs open with their snouts to get the feed. They do have a farmy charm, but as I said, my plate is too full to bother with them right now. I'd just love to fix them up and use them in a potting shed, so maybe one of you can actually do that for yourself and 3 great friends? :)

Let me know if you're interested. :) Thanks so much.

i bought an antique 'cowboy tub' (tin) .. but it didn't work out in our 'outdoor shower' like we thought it would ... soooo .. i'm turning it into a planter. gonna' fill it with barn red impatiens and sit it under a tree!

i have several olde doors that i'm hanging onto to 'do something with' someday! (i do use them as 'walls' in my antiques booth in town.

Hi huckleberrywine from se washington; my name is vicki williams & I am very interested in these. I live 1 hr north of spokane near Newport. I would have the time this summer to come down & get them. If you could please answer my email, we can exchange phone #'s & get in touch. They sound like a cute idea to work with & the price of free is very nice. Let me know directions too! thank you very much!

Fantastic Vicki, I'll send you an email, and we'll sort it all out. DH thought I was nuts that anyone would want them, but they are clean, and I'm glad you see the potential too. I'll set them aside for now. Thanks for responding, and check your e-mail. :)
