I am SO excited for the Outpost workbook, too, Nikki! I've spent a lot of my life hiking, camping, rock-climbing, fly-fishing, etc., and learning about nature - it's truly a "must" for the farmgirl lifestyle. Your suggestions are great - thanks!

Oh - and a suggestion that I have - because it's near and dear to my heart - how about a piece on taking children on outdoor excursions? I know there's a great part in MaryJane's "Ideabook..." and maybe that could be expanded on??? I would just love to hear about what has worked for moms taking more than one child into the great outdoors by themselves. It's SO important for kids to get to know the natural world - I realized that especially in having my own little ones.

I love that idea too, Libbie!! I am excited for this one too. I hope there is a section on the joys of fishing too..one of my favorite things to do.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I just LOVE to flyfish. I hope there's a section for us "reel" women, too!
And, Jenny - we STILL have to go fishing. I have two rods and two reels (and a bunch of flies - some that I've even tied myself! Ahem...can you tell I'm excited about that one?!?!?).

I want to learn fly fishing! I love to hike, rock scramble, boat and watch nature. I'd hunt if my eyes were any good and I wouldn't risk shooting my own foot off :/ looking forward to a peak at the book and have it on my wish list
