My Sweet Pumpkin of a Husband went to Barnes & Noble & got me The book for Mothers day!! He couldn't wait to give it to me until Sunday.. So he gave it to me last night!!! That & another really terrific book about quilts & this cool box of gardening cards!!!.. Trouble was, i had come home from work with one of the worst Migraines that I've had in months!! Poor Baby.. He & I were trying to look through the Book all evening.. In between my bouts of pain & nausea!!! I felt worse for him then I did for me actually!! Because he really knew what a terrific gift he had gotten me! & i just wasn't even able to enjoy it right then!!! Every once in a while I'd try to pick it up again & look through a couple more pages again.. Isn't it just wonderful??? I am so excited!!! I can't wait to get in there & tackle something!!! Happy Mothers Day to me!!!

What a sweetie pie! I have devoured my book and I want to try everything in it!!! Today I tried tatting....not hard at all. You might have to learn to control yourself,tho, Paul (Bunyan) you can only make one little knot at the end of each row of chain stitches......only ONE!!LOL
No.. I don't think i would be able to use such restraint!! ONE knot?? that can't be a project for me!
There is a really cute project on making Tea Towels & using Bias Tape (which i am addicted to..) as designs!! like shapes of birds & things!! So cute!! No knots involved it looks great! Soon as the cloud of this dang Migraine clears i'm going to have to dig into the book a bit better..

I am planning to make the bias tape towels soon too. My friends liked them and thought we could do a few at our next sewing session. We meet once a week for the most part, so we get a lot of things started at least! :)
