All items listed below are already spoken for, all addresses have been received, all packages have been sent :)

Dear farmgirls,

I've been going through cedar chests, upstairs closets, and storage trunks, reorganizing because I'm flea marketing once a month this summer. I have many antique and vintage clothing items and scraps that are ruined in one way or another but so beautiful that I don't know what to do with them. A vintage embroidered cowgirl shirt with bleached armpit stains, beautiful lace runners with small tears or moth holes, many things with moth holes in fact , a reversible silk kimono with tears and torn seams, etc. These items could easily be thrown away, but for someone with sewing smarts and a passion for repurposing, there are many beautiful sections of lace, embroidery, silk etc. that could be used for quilt patches, purses, pillowcases, aprons, pinkeeps, you name it. I think I have enough to send a few items each to about 3 different people. Are any of you interested? Feel free to ask questions...

My daughter Naomi would be interested in anything that could be used on making doll clothes or apron pockets, pinkeeps, etc.
Thanks,
Tina

Tina, I'll look for a few items that that your daughter might like. Please e-mail your address and be patient because I'm in the middle of lots of projects. I'll be sure to post when the items go out.

Jenny, I actually have two cowgirl shirts that can't be worn. One is sailor blue with the cutest white embroidery, white piping, and mother of pearl snaps. The other is dark green with embroidered roses, kelly green piping, and very fancy horseshoe snaps. Both are beautiful. Which do you think you'd like? For trade, I'd be thrilled with either a crocheted clutch or a pair of embroidered tea towels, or is that too much to ask? They are both very lovely.

Sunshine, e-mail your address and I will send you just what you asked for. After they arrive, if you feel inclined, you can send whatever you'd like in return :)

Jenny, just send your address and I will send you BOTH shirts. Don't send anything until you receive them, and then decide for yourself ;)

I'm happy to find homes for these items because I hate to throw such lovely things away. As I continue to go through the nooks and crannies of my home, I will most likely find more...

I'll take the kimono. I'll be happy to pay for shipping and you can throw in extra pieces if stuff to help you get rid of it.

Blessed Be!

Hi Kim, the kimono and all other items are spoken for now, except the blue cowgirl shirt. Please let me know if you'd like it.

(Jenny: green cowgirl shirt, Tina: assorted small scraps for doll clothes, Sunshine: lace and kimono pieces)

If I end up finding more items to give away or barter, I will post a new entry.

If the blue cowgirl shirt is still up for grabs, I'd love to have it, but Aunt Jenny is so nice, if she wants it send it to her!!

Oh, did you get my second email? I really, really did email you through MJ's on the day of the drawing, before I even posted you as the winner!! I have been having trouble with stuff going through from my computer. Kind of a crazy gremlin thing going on with it.

Please, please email me again, I got your email today........I have your apron here ready to finish!!

Hugs and blessings,
G

Sarah,
Would you happen to have any of the embroidery stuff left?
Just wondering, I know I am late seeing this post.

So far I've received addresses from Sunshine, Aunt George and Aunt Jenny. Sorry Tina, I haven't gotten yours yet :(

Denise, I found homes for everything so far, but I'll be sure to repost when I find more. I live in my family's big old ranch house and I haven't even been through every closet yet...I know that's really exciting from a treasure hunting standpoint, but until I get things organized and make some room around here, there's no where to even put the things that are actually mine. Hence the monthly flea marketing!

Hi, all! I'll check in with Carol to see what, if anything, is going on with the e-mail through the forum bit - I hope it's working now!!!
