I read Barbara's new book yesterday. It is nonfiction and is the account of her family's experience as they lived on their farm in VIrginia and ate locally via their garden and local area.
It was great. I felt inspired and also like I was sitting in her kitchen as she visited with me.
I can't think of the name of the book, but it is her newest and you won't have trouble finding it at the library or bookstore.
Yay! I just got it from my request list at the library today - can't wait to sit down with a cup of tea later and begin reading! (It's called Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, btw.)
I also just saw this at one of our local bookstores and was surprised because I didn't know she had a new one coming out. I love Barbara Kingsolver's work and am very excited to read this one. To the library! (Thanks for the recommendation!)
This is on my list! Small Wonder is really good too and non fiction about how we relate to everything around us and how she perceives things.I have loved everyone of her books, can't wait to read the new one. Thanks Connie!
Our County Library "Book Page" (sort of like a Sunday paper book section) just did an article on this book. I am going to use my B&N gift card to buy one next time I'm down the hill. I love her work, bith fiction and non-fiction. So inspiring and down-to-earth. Sharon
