I love this book- "Letters of a Woman Homesteader". It is letters that Elinore Pruitt wrote as she homesteaded in Burnt Fork Wyoming circa 1914. Here is a link to the book online.

Can you believe I had that checked out from the library but just took it back since I couldn't find time to read it? I have to get it again this summer sometime.

reminds me of VOICES FROM THE PRAIRIE (i 'think' that is the name of it). A group of actresses in Annapolis did this as a play .. tore my heart out! i'll have to find the one you recommend .. i just love reading about early american women! thanks! xo
