Thanks for the information Deb. Westmont is only 10 minutes from me. I'll go over there and check it out. Do you recall the name of the greenhouse?

It's not a greenhouse. It's 2 sisters who grow in their basement (I believe) and sell in the driveway and garage. I get an invite for this one - the other advertises in the Suburban Life Newspaper. Which I've been forgetting to check.

She's having another sale - this Friday, May 18th & Saturday May 19th.

Last time I bought some daisy's & hens & chicks for my girls. Star of Bethlehem for me, some pink milk weed, a snowball bush, hmmm.... I have a ton of other plants I bought, just can't think of the names.

Everything is $1.00 - with the exception of the snowball bush it was $3.00

Our local Master Gardener's and Mural Society hosts a plant sale fundraiser every year. Plants go from $1 - $5. I got a 12" planter of lamb's ears for $2. A huge peony bush for $1. and much more.

Hey! I was planning a trip out to your farm this summer! I've looked at your website in the past and want to bring my girls out, they would love it there. We camp at Lowden and thought we'd take a trip over one weekend. (Been trying to talk hubby into buying a hog from you too!)

Nice to see you on MJ's! When is that plant sale out by you?

The plant sale was last Saturday. It's always the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Maybe you could make it to our 3rd Annual Homesteaders Weekend? http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10342

June 23-24

We have the boar in with the gilt right now. Hopefully she is PG. Berkshires. It is a finer grain and being pasture raised with plenty of Jersey milk gives it a sweet taste.

Their personalities are so terrific too!
