Vintage Threads Inc. is open for business. There are lots of items there and I will try to update at least ever two weeks. I am also waiting on more inventory from other artist to place in the store.
Currently there are head wraps as seen in Mary Jane Butters book " Stitching Room". You can order the book at Mary Jane's Store (http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/). The head wrap she is wearing on the acknowledgements page is one I made it is Style D in the long length. If you are interested in an ordering one like hers. Plus a few other items are in the store: doll/wall yo yo quilts, baby items, silhouettes, hand made buttons, bookmarks, etc....
There are other items I am expecting too I will let those be a surprise to you until I post them in the store.
When it asks for a coupon type in Mary Jane this is only good for today, Tuesday and Wednesday it will give you 10% off purchase your total purchase before tax and shipping.

The store looks really nice Sunshine..and I wanted to say "thanks so much" for putting a link about the e-zine (Small Town Living) on there..what a suprise..and a great big "Thank you" for doing that.
I will talk to Naomi also and see if she'd like to put a few items in your store..she has designed a really nice skirt that looks like a tea time/country garden type skirt (2 layer/tea length) that is very nice..she hand embroiders on the bottom of them and they look very pretty..so I'll encourage her to get a few more of those done and some tea towels and other items and we'll get in touch with you.

yep that is why there is an empty spot where the dolls are located on the site just waiting to be filled by any dolls that Frannie is kind enough to send to the store. I just love all of her dolls they are so cute and have such character.

| Oh I can't wait to see Frannies dolls! I'd like to buy some Amish dolls from Mikki too!Any one else make dolls? I' d love to start a collection. I've love dolls since I was a little girl and only have had a few! I'm sure my hubby would totally kill me for collecting and buying dolls, but if he does- how nice all those handmade dolls would look next to me in my coffin! LOL! Hello, Sunshine and all the ladies here. I got my order from Sunshine's shop Vintage Threads, and I just love it all. I ordered some of those soft and delicate/feminine headwraps for my daughter, god daughter and twin girls of my best friend. The lime green one is so cool. My daughter will adore it as I am holding off until school lets out in early June. Lime gren is a hot color for summer with the teenagers.
Sunshine, thank you for the extra touches. That was so sweet of you. You are very talented with all the various handwork specialties. I am so impressed with the consistency of your tension in the crocheted items. I hope to attempt teaching myself these from MaryJanesFarm Stitching Room book this summer. I doubt I will even be close, but it is worth the try. Your headwraps are so lovely, and now I even want one for myself, short hair and all. it would look so feminie, perfect witha summer skirt.
