I change the flowers out for each of the seasons, but the sunflowers are my favorite!

Krista, I agree. Sunflowers are always the perfect flower. They bring such happiness looking at them. Thank you for sharing.

I've had my fall decor out but haven't had a chance to post a photo of a bit of mine until now.

Denise, this is so pretty. I love fireplace mantels. We never had one but I'm sure it's fun to decorate. Thank you for sharing.

Every house should have a functional fireplace in my opinion! Very pretty Denise.

That looks great Denise! We have a wood stove instead of a fireplace. I only get to decorate it when it's warm outside. I'd love a mantle to hang stockings for Christmas! I have taken some pictures but I haven't gotten them uploaded from my camera yet. Hopefully soon!

Thanks everyone. This is actually a gas fireplace and honestly we have never used it in the 5 yrs we have been here. I decorate for every season. The fireplace is in such a small room and most of the heat from a fireplace goes up the chimney. Though I've always loved a fireplace if we ever needed something for heat we would get a woodstove or wood furnace.

Heather when we lived in NJ we had both a wood furnace and a wood stove for our family room as when we added it there was no way to connect to the duct work. I loved the woodstove and we added a small shelf to go around behind it. I decorated that but it was a battle to keep it dust free. Anyone with a woodstove knows what I'm talking about.
