I happen to love Halloween, but only the fun parts like grinning pumpkins, black kitties with hats on and Trick our Treat fun. For others who love these fun celebrations the last day of October, this might be for you too. Let's do a small Trick or Treat bag swap. With postal rates way up there, keep this small . Homemade anything works, a few treats, and whatever you wish to include is enough. It can be a fun Farmgirl way to bring back a bit of memories and that excitement we had in elementary school when we decorated our classroom poster boards and doors.
Sign-ups will go through October 9th and partners will be posted on October 10.
We have 9 participants so I will be posting partners the Red Robin Way.
Denise to Terri
Terri to Debbie
Debbie to Kelly
Kelly to Andra PA
Andrea to Winnie
Winnie to Julie
Julie to Connie
Connie to Wanda Sue
Wanda Sue to Denise
If you have any questions please contact me. Doing round robin is always a bit tricky for me to put together but I think I now have it correct. Big Thanks to all of you who participated in the fun!!
BOO TO YOU!!

Sooooo yes! Add me please!!! Winnie! I am the same as you, I love sweet Halloween from the 1960's. I saw on a documentary on The History Channel about Halloween, a teacher in the USA invented it back in the 1930's, early 1940s to give the little kids a fun thing to do. the teenagers were playing pranks, putting shaving cream in mailboxes, breaking windows from abandoned warehouses, putting lawn furniture on the roof. She Came up with the idea to have games and a costume contest at school on Halloween night. The teens came too. The town loved it so much, they ask if the kids could stop by thier houses for a treat on the way home.. thats how it began. The local newspaper article was picked up by newspapers across the usa. Woolwoths came up with the idea to manufactured costumes and decorations. Connie |

Have fun with this swap. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I will be unavailable for this swap. We will be off the Mexican Riviera on a cruise for Halloween. We have done a Halloween cruise before and it is fun seeing some of the costumes that people dress up in. There is always a parade around the ship. We are not sure if we will dress up or not; that means packing extra. Hmmmmmmmmmm!
Have fun!

That may be how it started in America but it originated with much darker roots in the beginning.

Wanda Sue, Wow! I don't know what else to say except I won't need to dress up. All the candy you sent. Thank you so much for the cute bags and the candy bag from your town as well as the bracelets. They will come in handy. I'm sharing with JT and granddaughter Tori. Thanks again for the fun pkg!
