Yesterday my mailbox had some surprises.
Thank you, Mary Jane, for the Smithsonian "Beautiful Botanicals" Word Search. We have 3 cruises planned before the end of the year and this will be wonderful to use on sea days. It arrived with a certificate and card.
And thank you, Winnie, for the MJF Postcard, a scarecrow hanging decoration (to help me think of Fall and cooler weather), a homemade card, and a cute wooden henhouse decoration. I've put it on my windowsill in the kitchen.

Linda, I am glad you enjoy the little package I sent and that you are enjoying and having a fun month as our FGOTM. Also enjoy those three cruises you have planned coming up. The year is going to be over before we know it. It seems like this Summer is also zooming along/.

Good morning, Farmgirls! Welcome to a very warm, or should I say very HOT, August! I enjoyed a very nice month of July as Farm Girl of the Month and would like to thank everyone who sent words of congratulations to me. It was a very productive month for me, as I finished quite a few UFOs and new projects this past month, probably because it was cooler staying inside and sewing than going outside in the heat.
I would like to nominate Joan, AKA Simple Living, as Farm Girl of the Month for August 2026. I'd love to get to know a little more about Joan and her life in New York. Please give Joan a warm farmgirl welcome!
