Have any of you made a scarecrow hat before? One of my little guys wants to be a scarecrow for Halloween and we are trying to DIY his costume rather than buy it. I have figured out the shirt and the overalls but he still needs a hat. How did you make a hat or how would you make a hat? I would greatly appreciate any ideas. My sewing skills are very minimal, so the easier the better!

This is one of the things I love about this group of fun ladies… When we hit a stump, Wall, whatever… Someone always comes to the rescue with the easy Peezy idea… I love the idea of the crochet hat…

I totally agree, Grace! I have no clue why, but crocheting never even crossed my mind. I am so very happy that Heather suggested it. Farmgirls are amazing!

I finished the hat over the weekend! Stryder is very excited and happy with how it turned out. I think its adorable! Now to finish his overalls!
