Krista, your project is really looking great and I am interested in seeing it when it is done. Highland cows are a national interest these days and are showing up in all sorts of handmades as well.

I completed my trio of gnomes, and they are ready to go outside. It was a slow process, especially the big boy. He has been sitting out in the weather for over ten years, and the concrete is very rough. So instead of regular brush strokes, it was more like pouncing to get the paint into all the pits. I was worried about the details of the face, but it all worked out. Can’t wait to place them in the front yard.

![]() Thank you everyone! The gnomes are placed in the yard now. The sprinkler gnome fit perfectly in a thrifted rusty rocking chair. So he now holds my house number.
