Posted - Apr 04 2014 : 06:38:15 AM Help! I wore my favorite sweater to a meeting yesterday, the rosy kind- of-velour one, that makes me smile. Name tags were handed out, you know, those things that start peeling off in 10 minutes, usually. This time, not so much!
When I got home it would only start to peal off under major double-fisted power, then only in tiny scraps taking a lot of the fluff along.
I thought maybe getting it wet would dissolve the goo, no luck here either. The paper came off but the gooey rectangle remains. Now there isn't even anything I can grab to pull.
Any suggestions?
Susan

Posted - Apr 04 2014 : 06:48:29 AM Can you wash it with a bit of dishsoap by hand? The degreaser should help and should be gentle enough for your sweater. If not I sometimes use just regular bar soap to handwash stains out of clothes.
