We just purchased an older camper. It is in very good condition and original. But it does have old camper smells.
I would like to keep it original for now. I don't want to change out cushions since they are in such good shape.
I have washed the curtains. But I would love suggestions on how to freshen up the cushions (one side is vinyl-I just wiped those down) but need help with the fabric side.
Also refrigerator and stove/oven is pretty dirty.
Looking for some cleaning tips.
Thanks!

Sandra

I don't use Febreeze (I don't like the smell), but I found that Biokleen makes a fabric freshener with enzymes and it works really great! That's what I would use, too. :)

Thank you for the cleaning tips.
I have used a "homemade" dry shampoo of cornstarch and baking soda on the cushions and vacuumed them all. I did find some damage on one.
I may end up making slip covers for them.
I will post picture when it warms up and we pull it out the barn to clean it :)

Vinager and water wipes everything clean. Fabreze on all soft surfaces like cloth on cushions. If they zip off then spray the foam. I put fabric dryer sheets everywhere to soak up the musty smell. Send photos ... I have two old Scottys. You can tape the dryer sheets under the table and it helps too.
Hugs and prayers, Daizy
