Posted - Feb 07 2013 : 06:27:11 AM I have used this for years, when I was single I had to come up with something cheap for my face that would fade dark spots, smooth my skin, and clean away dead skin. So I took 1 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix it and keep this in a air tight container in the refrig. Take about a tablespoon put it on a wash cloth and wash your face twice a day with this. After a 2 days, do this 3 times a week for a smooth clean face. I promise you will love it.

Posted - Feb 09 2013 : 7:47:48 PM I've been doin olive oil hot treatments to help keep my skin soft. I bet this would be a good pretreatment! I float a very small container of oil in hot water while I bathe. Then I rub the hot oil on my face and let set till it feels cool. Then I rinse and wash my face. I will use a few drops of oil to rub into my face after I dry off as well.
It seems to help even though I only get to do it once a week or so. I will be tryin this combined method tonight!
Thanks!

Posted - Feb 07 2013 : 6:42:26 PM sounds lovely! I have also done this, but with honey instead of olive oil. It's really sticky if you get it on your hair, but it rinses off easily and leaves your skin with a glow!
