We are blessed with lots of trees on our plot of land. We are not blessed, however, with children who can stay out of the pine sap created by the trees. Last night I found a sticky spot in my new carpet- pine sap. Any ideas how I can get this out of the carpet? Or off of children and anything else, for that matter?

Thanks-

Try Goo Gone. It is citrus smelling and gets out everything sticky, whether on carpets, glass or clothing. It removed chewing gum from a certain little girl's dress I know! After using it, wash the area again with soapy water to remove any of the natural oil that helps dissolve the goop.

Resolve is good, too! Especially for carpets.

Avon's Skin-so-soft works great to get sap off of skin, but I don't know if I would put it on my carpet.
