and I just don't know what's wrong with me. I have been cleaning like crazy this past week. One thing leads to another thing and I can't stop. Like today. I started cleaning the little shelf by the sink in the kitchen. Then sprayed the cabinet doors next to them. Then had to get on the step stool to get to the top and looked over at the top of the fridge. Yikes! Then to the microwave on top of the fridge. Yikes again! Then the walls behind the fridge. Then the doors. Good grief, it just goes on and on.

Then I went into the pantry to get a jar of green beans. There I go again. I had to clean the pantry. All kinds of plastic bags and egg cartons. A few bags of cans I was saving for who knows what, because I can't throw anything away apparently. But I did!

It just feels good to be clean. Where does it all come from anyway? So if I can do a little every day, I might just get this house to where it needs to be. Maybe.

Kris

I got a lot done today with "domino cleaning" as I call it. My dining room/living room area is almost completely unpacked from the move. We just need a host of command strips and we should be good to go! I am going to head to town tomorrow so I should make a list. Tomorrow is a catch up day for me. I think I am going to head to bed. I will give you all some update pictures soon!

The only time I ever get the cleaning bug is during hunting season when hubs is gone for a week. It's nice when no one is in the way and I can shampoo carpets without him walking on the wet carpet in his boots! Otherwise, I clean when I can't the dirt and/or mess any more.

Kris, I get that urge to clean about once every other month, and it's usually about 2 at night.

That sounds like me the past couple of nights! With the Mister out of town, I can finally clean without being interrupted!

I feel like that some days too Kris! Today, I started out tidying & cleaning the kitchen...then I started on the pantry. It's just a small one, but there were things that needed to put up & away & re-organized. Thankfully it didn't take that long! So now my pantry & kitchen are clean, my living room is clean from a couple weekends ago, and my next "big project" is my bedroom. That's waiting til I'm on holidays when I get my tonsils out! (At least I'm hoping that's when it's going to happen! lol) If not then, I'll take a 3 day weekend sometime & do it all then. It sucks not having any storage space....
