I'm not excited with my appliances anyway, especially because my stove is electric, but even worse, it's BLACK and shows grease! Granted, it shows that I know how to cook and do so every day, but no matter how well I clean it, I can't get it truly clean. I have tried cleaners that work on everything else, but not this greasy film on the stove top.

Anyone have any ideas??

I'll try that ASAP! It's driving me insane, seeing those swirls on that stove

I always use a mixture of 50% water, 30% vinegar & 20% lemon juice that works great. Not sure how it would work on black stuff, since all my stuff is white/yellow...but maybe it will help! I use it on everything - table, counters, sink, anywhere that needs a little cleaning. I've heard lemon juice works really good on grease.
