Ok I did some research and we do not have high iron water. Whatever is going on is making our clothes and the bottom of the shower turn pink!

If it isn't the iron, is there another mineral? I mean there are absolutely no stains anywhere on any appliance!

I first noticed it in the shower, I thought maybe it was the coloring of the homemade soap I had, so I got a different bar of a different type. The lather was fine but then as I looked down I noticed sure enough the lather was pink at the bottom of the shower, even turning pink on my skin. Not red, pink. So I tried plain Kirk's brand castile soap and it did the same thing. Now my husbands whites are turning pink, hello pink socks, poor guy! Everyone in my house is slowly getting pink socks with each progressive load. At first we didn't notice anything.

I use Fels Naptha soap in my laundry detergent and I have recently figured out how to use vinegar in the rinse cycle and they are still getting progressively pinker.

Any tips what I should do? Even my hair is getting a reddish hue and even stranger my skin has never been this white and washed out looking. So strange, my skin color even changed since moving here. Which brings me to the fact: should we even be drinking the water?!

Help me fix the pink problem! Thanks in advance!

I also forgot to mention that in a glass jar the water is fine, it is only when it is mixed with soap the lather not the water turns pink. But castile, fels, and my natural soaps all turn to a pink lather. (Only guessing fels does because my laundry is turning more pink with each load, only certain whites though like those of 100% cotton like socks, underwear, some t-shirts)

No sediment in the water, it was tested a year ago before we moved in and it was the ultimate water, we are lucky to have it. . . strange stuff!
