i make my own shampoo bar. cold process. i find that 2 times a week i use a more cleansing shampoo to lift the weight off my hair. valerie and kritine are right. i use my soap on my dog yorkie also. the creme rinse is what makes it work for me. i must say though my bar leaves my hair clean without harsh stripping. so my hair is not dry but rich. i have super fine blonde grey hair. this works for me. i use a lot of shea jojoba etc. in my bar. just a thought happy days sherrye

I am a hairdresserand have a question to ask you. How is it making your hair feel? If it feels dry (like straw or there is nothing on it), then that is actually a good thing. All the impurities have been taken off of the hair. Today we are used to feeling all the silky, waxy, smooth hair because of all the waxes and such in shampoos and conditioners. You may just need to find a good conditioner to use or find a good homemade serum to smooth the hair a bit. I have found some great recipes for hair, skin, nails, feet, etc. at www.hairrecipes.homestead.com. This may help.

Today is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I use a 6% super fatted herbal soap bar that we make. Contains: olive, coconut & palm oils, plus infused herbal & essential oils.
