Posted - Oct 07 2010 : 12:29:11 PM Don't forget cedar and pine, most bugs don't usually like those either. You know those cedar chips in the back of your drawers. Hope this helps. I am in bug city here in kansas, i guess ks has lots of bugs. Anyways I had good luck with cinnamon and bay until last week, but it got cold sooooooo, I went through and redid all my stuff and got some ceder too. I think it worked it's only been 2 days.
I HATE BUGS!!!!!

Posted - Sep 30 2010 : 5:30:49 PM If these are the little Asian beetles, you can put wormwood down and it stops them cold. Last spring they were coming in around my kitchen window and I sprinkled some wormwood and haven't had any since. Cinnamon also works to keep ants away. Cindy

Posted - Sep 30 2010 : 2:10:00 PM I have two things recently that have worked wonders. Cinnamon, the fresher the better but I just bought powder. I sprinkled the powder everywhere! my carpets, the borders of everything. My house looks like there's dirt everywhere hahaha. And bay leaves, I just put one here and there where I thought the bugs would be like behind the toilet. The cinnamon seemed to have worked pretty well. I'm not too sure about the bay leaves but I haven't seen any bugs. Good luck
