and dish and dishwasher detergent. I know there were recipes in one of the magazines, but I have no idea where I put them. Are the recipes anywhere on the Web site or on this forum?

How much do I use per load? I have all of the supplies. Can I store it in small containers such as whip cream and cottage cheese containers?

The above link has some helpful recipes. If you take the time to go back a few pages on the clean up, home safe home, and across the fence (might have to go back a lot more pages there) you will find a good number of threads on cleaning recipes and helpful hints. It is also kind off fun to see what other topics have been discussed. This is the recipe I use. I found it through here and added the oxi-clean stuff. I wanted to clean/whiten some old french linens and boy did that work so now I just keep it in and I can clean anything :-) Good Luck

Homemade Laundry Soap
You can use Castile, Zote bar soap, 3 bars Fels Naptha Bar Soap - each bar is 5 1/2 oz. - (I use ZOTE soap- 1 1/3 bars)
4 lbs. Borax
4 lbs. Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
4 lbs. Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
4lbs of Sun Brand Oxygen-Clean
Mix and store in airtight container.
2-3 tablespoons per load

that is the recipe that I use as well. I use my old magic bullett and after I grate I give the soap a whirl in that as well.

there was some discussion on the dishwashing detergent and a recipe for that in the last couple of days on one of the threads.
