Posted - Sep 30 2009 : 10:25:44 AM I only have one bar of fels and I need to make another batch of laundry soap and I won't get paid for a few weeks. Can anyone with better math skills than mine help me reduce the homemade laundry soap recipe?
Thanks in advance, Tracy |

Posted - Sep 30 2009 : 7:54:22 PM I always just use equal amounts of baking soda, washing soda, borax, and eithe fels napa or pink zote soap-grated. so you can just use the one bar and see how much you get grated and then put in equal amounts of the other stuff.

Posted - Sep 30 2009 : 7:26:19 PM I don't know what recipe you're using, but I use 1/2 bar of Fels Naptha, 1/2 cup of Borax and 1/2 cup of Arm & Hammer washing soda. My family is pretty large (8 still at home) and this batch lasts us about 3 weeks. If you want the entire recipe, I have it posted on my blog! Good Luck!!! Oh ya...mine is not a dry recipe, it's liquid. http://jabezfarm.blogspot.com |
