Posted - Apr 01 2009 : 09:44:06 AMOur new house has this beige carpet in the living room and the stairs. With having been cleaning the old place and moving into the new- it hasn't had a good vacuum yet. Today I decided I would start in one corner of the living room and sort, clean and put away.
I started in the corner with the door because I don't think there is anything like a freshly vacuumed carpet that makes the eye think "clean!" So whenever I start thinking that cleaning is taking too long or I am not seeing enough progress I look at that clean bit of carpet and see if I have more stuff picked up so I can vacuum a bit more. So far it seems to be working!
Is there anything quite like clean carpet or freshly mopped floors to keep you motivated in your cleaning endeavors?
